Align carrier pin in trac lok?

I'm in the process of doing the disc brake conversion and somehow I managed to get the spider gears out of alignment with the carrier so I can't get the carrier pin in. How do I get this bitch back in?

i didn't do it on a trac lok axle but on an open diff slightly twisting an axle shaft got mine to realign.

When rebuilding track lok's, I usually throw an axle shaft on a tire to create a stand. Then I put the carrier on the shaft, put the pin into the carrier a little bit, and whack the pin with a rubber mallet until the spiders line up. Insert pin. Insert lock screw. Done.

I managed to get them to spin back into place by putting it into gear and forcing the axle to turn. Thanks guys. Such a pita.
