1990 wiper motor

The wiper motor was running slow so I took apart and cleaned the "grease"- more like dried caulk and relubed. I jumpered it and it runs fine - but it needs new brushes. Has anyone replaced the brushes on this era wiper and where did you get the brushes ?

Thanks

Might try an old style alternator/starter custom rebuilder shop, they should have good sources for carbon brushes, they might know.

Dealer maybe?

Old style country hardware stores use to carry a variety of them. Get the part number from a dealer and google the part number, ebay may them have them. But I have never seen or heard of one of those going bad. They entire motor assy should be cheap on ebay.

Maybe rock auto?
