Anyone know where this vacuum line is suppose to go? (White cap) noticed it today when working on old Gold Tooth

It's not a vacum line. That is the breather for either the trans Transfercase or front diff. Not sure which.

Front diff. Trans and transfer case come up with the dip stick

...and by the way. THAT is where it goes. That end is just a vent and the white cap is to keep water and stuff out...the other end plugs into the diff.
