I have a 2001 with a complete, charged, blowing cold when I stole the engine AC system that's never going to see the road again. I have a 90 that stands a much better chance of being registered again, but it retains the original R12 system. Is there any reason I couldn't use the entire system, from the condenser to the evaporator? Would there be any advantage to using the late model HVAC cabinet, and would it fit behind the early dash?
