I have a 1998 Cherokee and am looking for a specific ground location. My service manual states it is G302. Does anyone know where this may be located?

Look at your manual again. They have a listing for where each ground is located, unless it is a Chilton or the like.

G302 is located behind the spare tire.
Remove spare tire. Remove plastic interior panel.
G302 is a black wire that ends in a ring terminal and is attached to the metal
car body using a sheet metal screw.
Keep in mind that G302 shares the sheet metal screw with G303.
G303 is also a black wire that ends in a ring terminal.
Figuring out which is which will require some testing on your part.
