4wd swap issues, transfer case not shifting. (Double post mods delete plz)

I am currently in the process of a 4wd swap into my xj and finally got all of the necessary parts into my jeep, however, getting 4wd working seems even harder than the swap! My transfer case won't shift no matter what I do.

So far I have changed the transfer case fluid (there was almost none in it), removed the front driveshaft to remove any stress from it, and attempted to shift it manually underneath the Jeep. The linkage will give to a certain extent, but won't move enough to change gears.I believe the tcase is in 4low, but I don't know for sure. If anyone has any idea what the issue could be, I would greatly appreciate it!

Sounds like you may have the rods swapped on the bellcrank.

If you can't shift it manually It really sound like a t case
