Hydro assist and Chevy/gm 1ton steering

I've got a d30 with the classic 1ton steering with Chevy/gm tre's and I'm wondering if I can run a psc ram and have it would work or would I need to go heim steering to make it work fully? My mind say it'll work but I know tre's have more give and sloppiness than a heim joint.

Well I already got the psc ram from another member here.

My biggest worry was just the tre's and their reliability with a ram added to the mix.
I didn't really see anything threads asking this peculiar question so I'm happy to hear that it'll be fine. Thank you

I run one ton tie rod ends and a psc ram. No issues

As long as you have the correct stroke ram you will be fine. That goes for both heims and TRE's though.

Agreed^ just make sure you have the correct ram otherwise you'll have bigger problems..
