You'll find complaints against just about any reman company.
I'm pretty sure powertorque is atk, who also sell motors under another name through rockauto, Amazon, and autozone among a few. (They don't even bother to change part #'s)
There are more independent local rebuilders than major companies. Quite a few went bankrupt in the early 2000s and again after 2008.
One trick to find out who is behind a motor is check the warranty details online then run the address and phone numbers.
