If you are talking about the droop in the chain, it is very common if the rear housing is removed, for it to droop. The housing keeps the two shafts in alignment and further apart than the state it is in.
Amazon is the first place that comes to mind, find a chain that qualifies for prime and see how quickly they can dispatch it with the extra for next day.
I'm not sure what the other proper suppliers who specialise in 4x4 offer.
I've had good luck with sellers who drop ship crown products they have a distribution center in a neighboring state .
Like said it looks fine. Unless you can see marks on the inside indicating it has been scraping, I would throw it back together. Especially if that's the one thing holding you up
Years ago I bought a chain expecting to need to replace it when I got it apart but the one in there was good. Thing is these 231 don't wear the chains out unless the are in 4wd a lot. (But most of mine have vac disconnect)

Flatten the chain, and hold it up with the links flat with the bench, that's the droop you should be concerned about, and the NP manual should give you a spec on it.
I must not be seeing it, but all I see is casting marks on that case, no rubbing marks from the chain. If there were they would be on the top and bottom of the center of the case where the chain would be slackest. Mainly I've only seen them on the bottom center, and that was on a case that was run dry until it finally seized. They would look like someone had hit it with an aggressive grinder disk.

The casting marks are lines in the 1st picture correct? Some of them look like they have been ground down from the chain like you see in the picture and some look like they have never been touched? While I have this apart I just want to replace anything that needs to be.
if you look at the originally posted picture where you show the chain still in place ... looks for slack chin wear marks at the point the chain is lowest in the picture.
The two end case pictures look pretty normal. If the chain had moved out that far at that point it would also likely slip off the cogs. But, like I mentioned earlier, the normal place to see wear marks is bottom middle of the case where the chain hangs slackest.

Question for you guys, I noticed yesterday that the SYE was leaking from what seems to be the bearing on the out put housing. When I put the rubber star in the yoke I sealed it with gasket maker. So I know it's not coming from there. I did some research and found that some people have the same problem with rough country's SYE leaking from the bearing. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it?
There should be an output seal, they likely supplied a cheap seal or it was damaged on instalation. Did you oil the seal and the seal surface of the yoke when you put it all together? Did you add a little RTV to the metal part of the seal before hammering it into the output housing?
Usually it's the result of a dry install, and the seal get damaged when you first install the yoke, then it leaks. Common mistake, replace the seal.
Could also have been an old dried up seal or shoddy quality supplied seal ... and was gonna leak no matter what.
You could try to call them and warranty the seal, or just get a replacement from Napa or similar, if there is a double lip seal option get that.
