getting mixed reaction on this

can anyone help me....i have a 1997 jeep cherokee sagging real bad in back factory springs inverted

i keep about 200-300 lbs of tools in back all the time so i want something that will last ...and not fail after 1 year

dormans have lifetime warranty
crowns have only 1 yr warranty

crowns are heavy duty 7 inch arc and 750 load rating

dormans not sure what duty they are and they only have 5 1/2 inch arc and no load rating listed

can anyone give me their advice so i can make a good buying decision

both are about same price crowns a little higher...i can get dormans for 89.00 each with bushings shipped and crowns are 79.00 plus about 20.00 for bushings shipped

please help me.....does anyone know what load rating the dorman 929-301 are? are they just cheap standard duty leaf springs ?

the lifetime warranty vs 1 yr warranty is possible a deal killer for crown..unless someone can tell me crowns are way way way better than dormans and should never have to deal with a warranty/failure in the spring

I dont know which is better but sometimes the warranty is useless imo, id rather have a product thatll last than to keep throwing chinese crap at the rig.. But as far as numbers go the crown seems to fit your bill better.. But again ive never tried either..

99% they're all from the same source. Get the Crown HD ones and add your old main leaf to it. It'll sit slightly higher buy great for carrying gear

As suggested, trim the spring eyes off the old main leaf and install it into the new spring pack.
