99 xj misfire cold startup

Hey guys, 1999 xj 4.0 4dr 4wd aw4 271k

She misfires for about 15-30 seconds at a cold start up. Then intermittently misfires (about 5sec of intermittent misfiring) then runs smoothly for the rest of the drive. It's not throwing any codes, my next thought is maybe a fouled injector that's clogging when cold, heat expansion causing to open after 20sec or so? Admittedly, she is in need of a tune up but I'm just looking for some possible suggestions. Thanks.

Only after a cold soak? Almost sounds like a lifter bleeding down.

It is difficult to diagnose a new problem when there is a known and unrepaired existing problem. Perform a fuel pressure bleed down test and determine if the fuel pump check valve has failed.

Workin on an update, had some unrelated issues come up so the jeep sits for now. I'll play with her tomorrow. Got a new o2 sensor on a hunch. I'll let you all know how it goes
