4.0L rebuild kits

1999 XJ classic 4.0 4x4 271k miles. Babied, oil change every 3k castrol 10w30 high mileage with lucas oil stab for EVERY change

Hey guys, got a rod bearing knock...its very slight but at 271k, im looking into rebuilding it to get it over with and to avoid crank damage. Sorry stroker guys, but just a stock rebuild for now...anyone have some links to a decent complete rebuild kit? I avoid ebay like the plague for this kind of thing so please, no ebay.

I got a great rebuild kit from http://www.northernautoparts.com/. Their prices were good, the kit was complete & there weren't junk parts in it. No affiliation w/ them, but they did good by me.

I rebuilt my 2000 XJ a couple years ago with a Clegg Master Rebuild Kit.

Engine machine shop even commented on, and appreciated, that I bought a quality kit.
