kingsley Reservoir area OHV

Is any body familiar with this area? A friend and I where thinking of going out there probably the first weekend of December. Is it still open then and if so what are the conditions usually? Snow? rain?

I've been there 3 times, and have a much higher opinion of the place now that I've run the entire trail. It's long and fairly difficult, with very difficult options. Don't go alone. There will almost certainly be snow up there in December.

Wow looks much gnarlier than I expected. I doubt my xj would be enough unless there are more moderate trails. #197? I think didn't look to bad. My buddys fj80 would be ok. I can do most stuff at cline. Ill pass that report to him. Btw, I think Ive seen your xj at the sandy ridge trail head, paddlernate. Do you ride mtb?

Yep, you've seen me there. It's kayaking season now though!

Oh, and the trail pictured in that write up is #197, there is only one trail for Jeeps there.
