Manual XJ Engine Into Auto XJ?

So I just bought a 4.0 out of a manual XJ and want to throw it into my auto (blew up my engine Saturday in a mud pit). Anything complicated here? I'll need to throw my auto's flex plate on there of course.

Other than removing the pilot bearing (this is required, right?) this should be straightforward, no?

You got it. Change leaky rear main seal/oil pan gasket/valve cover gasket while it's out. Check freeze plugs. Maybe change out upper axle bushings while accessible.

Make sure and swap the Throttle body and brackets for the AT cable.

Yes, it has to be removed. There's a couple ways if you
don't have a tool. One is to fill the area behind the bearing
with heavy grease, place a close-fit bolt into the center
of the bearing, and give it a quick smack with a hammer.
The hydraulic shock will force the bearing out.
