timing cover gasket

looks like there are two gasket sets for sale:
TCS 45117 without 'sleeve n seal'
and
TCS 45458 with 'sleeve n seal'

what the heck is the sleeve?
i have RTV already, so i dont see the point in getting a kit that comes with it. but i am unsure about the seleve.

If your crank has a groove worn where the seal rides,you want the sleeve.If the crank is fine,no sleeve needed.

^^ this. You'd have to inspect to be sure, but if your front main is leaking then you don't need the speedi-sleeve, and if it is you may or may not need it.
