Power locks stuck on?

I've tried some google searches with no luck. When I connect the battery in my 2001 XJ the power locks are stuck constantly locking, like if someone kept hitting the lock switch over and over again. It was doing it on all doors, but has now settled on just the back hatch. This obviously kills my battery pretty quickly. Where should I even start to trouble shoot this?

Drivers door and tailgate wire harness issues are very common. Unplug the drivers door wire harness and see if the strange behavior stops. If not, do the same for the tailgate. Also disconnect the key-less entry module if you have key-less entry.

I would suppose you have a short circuit somewhere near the hinges. Drivers door master switch issues are also somewhat common.
