Trying to install Power Antenna in 1998 Jeep Cherokee.
I am aware that the the Power antenna has a relay that
that allows the antenna to extend when the Radio is turned on
but, anal retentive me, wants to know where in the jeep the
factory had it installed. If anyone has a a Jeep Cherokee from
1997 to 2001 could you take a look and post a picture of where
it's at.

Not sure dude. My 2001 has a fixed mast antenna. I just read sections 8A-8 through 8A-14 in the 2001 Factory Service Manual, and it never even mentions any power antenna option.

No reference to a power antenna in my service info or wiring diagrams. Parts info shows one though.

Typically power antennas have the relay built on and you have a constant 12v power, ground and activation wire.

12v to the activation wire; antenna goes up. remove power, antenna goes down.

Yeah I had the same experience when I was looking though the manual. It said that the exports had them, but it wasnt very descriptive about the wiring. Anyways thanks for the responses.
