Just had the Schafer valve hose assembly changed out and system recharged from pep-boys, long story. Anyway there is now, what I think is, green leak dye dripping from where the AC typically discharges condensation, why would this be?

A failed evaporator core would be a good suspect.

Evaporators can and do fail for a number of reasons. Mine is actually outgassing refrigerant so that I could smell it and see a light smoke in the engine bay. It hasn't been overcharged. I believe its just age and a weak original design that leads it to being a "wear item". Its not just a Jeep thing either, other makes/models have the same issue.
