My buddies 4.0L (92) needed new valve stem seals pretty bad. Did them last night (head in place, rope method). Now however, when he starts it up, all seems good until it warms up, and then something starts squeaking. Sounds like the new valve stem seals. Cranking the motor by hand makes the squeak real obvious.
I've never had to do these on a 4.0L. Did we miss something or do they just make some noise initially?
Noise goes away when the motor cools back off.
Also just did an oil change and threw on a new filter. Oil pressure is good and seems to be circulating properly.
