Which half doors?

Got a set of late model doors for my xj and trying to figure out which style or depth of cut out would be best for the pnw.

Which one do you prefer or would do if you made some?

I cut mine to the body line just at or above the cylinder where the key goes.

Seems to work well, still offering some protection when rubbing against trees in tight spots.

Mine are not cut as low as the doors in those pics.

Ya I like the first pic for bigger opening but I'm more partial to the more closed for protection as you said josefxj97

I've never been a fan of going door-less due to the lack of side protection. If things ever were to get crazy you could easily end up with a rock in your lap, or limb outside. I built a set of half doors for JeepForceOne, and really liked them. I believe I cut them down to just below the lock cylinder hole.
