Hey guys bought my xj a month or so ago and thought it seemed pretty solid....

After that was done I was on my way to work Thursday and made it 10 miles and was still freezing my butt off. Looked down and the temp was at about 230
 put new 180 degree thermo In it last night let the rtv seal up over night and today worked fine. Other than my antifreeze looking like a white russian. Which on that I don't belive it's a head gasket problem no white smoke or bubbles in radiator. Just have to flush it and see.

So now I'm sitting on 245 75 16 at3 lot of rub. Thinking about heading out there right now and cutting out the fender support bracket and taking of the front bumper caps and lip

Well that was Interesting I went out pulled the lip off and cut the fenders about where the caps top line was. And cut my bumper from the top corner down at a angle to the first bumper bracket. Then I thought to myself I might as well pull the rear caps off too. Grr rusted out on the corners underneath the caps. I tried my first fiberglass job looks like hell but it's done. What do you guys think about just cutting my rear bumper down about 4 to 5 inches on each side?

Okay guys got the jeeps headgasket replaced and most of its quirks worked out still have some rust to attend to like rear wheel wells are pretty rotted and rockers etc. But here are some photos of just a few min ago me playing in snow
