I have a new to me 2001 XJ Limited with the CEL lit. last time I had it scanned it said it had a large EVAP leak detected. BUT it is also idling high (1250-1500 RPM range) I did the throttle cable adjustment but that did not change anything.
The voltmeter on the dash is also pinned at 19V. I know the idle could be a vacuum leak but have not been able to find one and the EVAP leak I think I fixed (have to clear the CEL to be sure). Also the trans will not shift into 4th until I am at about 43-45 MPH (is that normal?). Any help is greatly appreciated
