"Bubbles" of sagging in headliner?

I have several dinner-plate sized spots where the headliner material has come loose from the backing. Any easy fix for this without pulling the headliner and replacing/regluing the entire thing?

Nah, dude. Pull and replace is your option - both easiest and only.

Just be sure to use a high temp glue. More than one person has redone the headliner and had it come apart again on a really hot day.

I used a contact cement specified for Formica counter tops and labeled high temp.

They make plastic screw in retainers just for that purpose. If you want a quick and easy fix they are the way to go. It's not the best fix as they sometimes come out but it's no big deal to shove another one in. If you need it to look nice then pull it and cover it with fabric as the others suggest.
