Ok I have a question. So the other day I put 33's on my XJ with a 4.5" lift. I trimmed my fenders today and on the way home I hit a pot hole and the tire started shaking until I pulled off the road. This is the first time it has done it to me then it happened again later today. So can someone help me with what to check and possible fixes?

Did you have tires balanced, used, new? Check all your steering geometry, probably something out of order, maybe loose.

Have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth while you look for a loose joint. Loose trackbar, loose steering tie rod ends, etc.

Tires were just balanced.they are used. Ill have to have my daughter turn the. Wheel for me tomorrow. Think its the drag link ends

Did you get an alinement done after the lift was done ?

Yes alignment was done after the lift but before the 33's

Most all death wobble comes from the track bar.

Thanks. I believe I fixed it. It was the track bar bolt on the axle side.

If it was the axle side, check and make sure the hole isn't oval a bit. A good remedy is to weld a washer there to strengthen and help keep the bolt tight
