ax15 slave connection help

So, I thought the new slave had taken a jeep dump on my new shoes again. But no, the inlet line quick connect just came off. Now, it doesn't seem to want to clip back in. Iirc, there is a small retainer washer with an o-ring inside of the master side of the line. Any special thing that I need to do to get it to seat correctly? Can I take o-ring and washer out to re align, or other options? 93 xj with an Ax15i.

If the clutch line is anything like the fuel line quick connects, there's usually a o-ring / spacer / o-ring combo. Maybe you're trying to double stack some O-rings?

You might have better luck in OEM Tech. Maybe a mod can move this.

The line should have a small roll pin to retain it.
