Transmission cooler connectors/tubing by NSS

Yea, everyone.. first post here.

When the tubing comes out from the connectors at the transmission, Does it just pull straight out after squeezing the two plastic pieces? Or does it have some kind of special end to it?

My 1989 does. Squeeze gently, carefully wiggle the line out. Some newer ones need a tool.

I used channel-lock pliers to get mine off, there is a special tool you can get but mine were pretty worn

Is it straight tubing or is there some kind of stop or flare on it?
I found a pic of an end but not sure it thats it or not.

It has a stop land formed into the tubing.
