cheaper key fob?

Is there a way to get a less expensive key fob other than through the dealer? Have a 96 XJ that has what I think is an IR sensor bulb on the ceiling near the overhead lights. Auto unlock is the only function it would be used for.

You can find them on eBay and Amazon, and
it's easy to program them yourself. The IR system
dosen't have much range, but it works OK.

My IR sensor is near the rear-view mirror.
