Im putting a 94 motor, trans and TC into a 91 XJ. The 94 has gauges and the 91 has idiot lights. Not all electrical plugs plug in. Do I need to swap the wire loom or is there an adaptor?

Gauges / lights have different senders, so you need to swap the senders from your old stuff to the new stuff. All of them. If you have the cash, good time to buy new ones and reset the maintenance clock.
