What is the best / easiest / quickest way to eliminate the protruding, tire scaring pinch seam?

Torch it and pound it flat ?
Cut off wheel / plasma cut it off and re-weld it flat ?
or ??

Mine need to go.

Easiest, fastest, and loudest way is to use an air hammer - takes like 60 seconds per side. Manual hammer and cut/fold are also possible options.

No need to cut slits in it just hammer it down flat

Second this, Didnt need to cut any slits in mine. Pounded it flat with little issues using a dead blow sledge. This also provides a nice smooth surface if your tire contacts it vs lots of little razor blades if you cut slits in it.

DONE

Brought my BF brass hammer home from work and between that and a small pointed end mini sledge, it came out very nice with no gaps to every consider filling.

No cuts, just pound and paint. The hardest part was taking the wheel off.
That and feeling old and tired today !

Thanks for the tips.
