Rusty's LCA bushing replacement

With some effort, I managed to press the rubber out of the sleeves as a first step toward replacing the bushings in my Rusty's lower control arms. The next step is to remove the sleeves from the arms, but I don't have a very good idea how to do it. I tried clamping an arm to a bench with the end hanging over the edge of the bench and then tapping on the lip of the sleeve with a cold chisel, but with nothing solid to support the end I really couldn't wail on it hard enough to do any good. With the lip being wider than the tube that it's pressed into, I can't conceive of any way use a bench vise or c-clamp to push the sleeve out.

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm sure someone has been through this before.

Use an Air Chisel, or slit the sleeve with a hack saw. Expect to need a good sized hydraulic press to install the new bushings.
