Oil pressure safety,sender switch.That's all it was.OMG. after all this time.Geeez.I changed the O2 (ceramic type) sensor cause it was old.Sitting in it after dark with the lights on,i watched the oil pressure drop.It got to zero (38 mins.) Engine stalled.Never sat with it like that before.There it was.First i thought cam bearings.But no i knew exactly what it was.Picked up a new sensor,threw it in.Runs better than ever,thanks to all the great advice.I found alot of issues that needed attention and followed through.I ordered this XJ from AMC/jeep in '87'.It truly does run better than ever.Thanks again everybody.
