AC compressor locked up, HELP!!!

can I just remove the compressor and install a belt from a 4.0L w/o ac? Or is the belt routing all different?

Belt is just smoking around the pulley and I can't drive it anywhere, thanks!

have you tried unplugging the clutch?
unless, you mean just unbolting the compressor and letting it sit there, you will need to have the refrigerant recovered before removing the lines.

To answer you question, the belt routing is the same for the same year

the belt is the same fo ac and non ac, there's an idler pulley installed where the compressor goes.

if renix, you'll not find one.
I believe there are ac delete pulleys in the aftermarket for HO jeeps.
which is why posting your year/motor is kind of important

My local Oriely's had the bypass pulley in stock. As Souske said, you need to pull gas beforehand. Blue sky recovery is a frowned upon tactic.

yea the delete pulleys are cheap and easy. got mine for 35ish offa amazon. a shop pulled the refrigerant for free.
