OC source for 1994 proportioning valve?

they never have carried them Remi, summit sells an adjustable one, otherwise you need to hit the dealer or the junk yard.

Cal - seems that the one in my dads jeep went bad.
Grimm - thanks... haven't had to buy one before so I figured when it wasn't in the store they must have stopped carrying them...

I've never seen one for sale anywhere aside form aftermarket adjustable.

They consist of springs and O-Rings, very little chance of rusting apart here. If it's leaking replace the O-Rings. I'm not sure about a textbook test other than by feel.

not sure how to test it but they are a one time fail part, if you blow out a brake line it trips an internal piece from the pressure loss and blocks either the front or rear flow so you can still have brakes. once that happens there is no way (to my knowledge) to reset them. aside from blowing a line i have never seen one fail on its own.
