1989 Dana 35; Do you pack these outer axle bearing with grease or are they lubed by the gear oil?

D-35 non c-clip axle bearing lubrication?

I always grease bearings regardless...old habit just to be sure. Can't say specifically for the D35. If it doesn't have an outer seal you definitely need to grease it.

They are lubed by gear oil. Packing them with grease is just extra protection.
