Bought a new 30 already geared and needing to swap the spartan over. I tried to.research but have not come across anything useful.. anyone have any advice?

its tough but you will need to sneak something in to push the pins back down. Small flat head or something. Probably should use a coat hanger cut into small pieces, then put the pieces in the retaining holes

I have had to do this a couple of times now.....like highspeed said, cut a few 1 inch long straight pieces from a coat hanger.....should work perfectly

You could always remove the carrier and cut it in half :gee:
