part name question please

can anyone tell me what those little plastic locker pieces are call that lock the door handle/lock release cables that lock into the handle and the released mech. They are little and go around the metal cable and into the hole to keep them in place.

I need to order some for a GMC truck, but they look exactly the same!

I think you are asking about the "Retainer, rod end" J400 3673 AR Black,
J400 3672 AR White (88-93 at least, maybe later models also).

What year are we talking about, you said "cables" I'm talking about rods.

I've found those things on the "Help" peg board in numerous parts places (cheap).
