I have a 98 XJ. Swapping out rear diff from stock Chrysler rear end to a 79 ford 9". Front gear ratio is 3.55-1. Rear ford is 3.50-1. Is this going to be OK. Only using 4wd in the mud and snow.

In theory that .05 should not be an issue.
