Drilling bolt hole in shackle bracket

What do you guys think of this? I haven't found anyone that's done it, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something. If cutting the cargo floor to get a nut on the bolt isn't an issue, is there something about this that makes it ill-advised?

Drilling to place the upper shackle bolt in a location that provides a better shackle angle without the trouble of a relocation bracket.

Problem is, the only spot in the shackle bracket that's the right width for the shackle bushing sleeve to tension the bolt properly is right where the "pocket" for the weldnut bulges outward. So anywhere else you put it, it's going to be like 1/2" too wide.

It might work out... might not. No real room to get a drill in there, either.
