MAT Sensor replacement

Having a heck of a time finding a Mat Sensor for my 1989 4.0.
Tried dealer. Napa, AZ, ect. Anybody have a source or number for one?

I assume you're talking about the intake temp sensor in the manifold?
the general consensus seems to be that they're no longer made for the renix. I know that I was unable to locate one in any brand.
I've collected quite a few from the junkyard and saved the ones that ohm'd out to be good.
the other option is that there is a gm sensor that is the same resistance specs and should work fine, you'd just have to change the wiring pigtail in the jeep. I don't recalling the gm application or part number, but I'm sure someone on here will know.

Hellbent, when you test the ohm's. Do you test at the two pins or from one pin to the end of the probe? I'm not sure I was testing it right. Thanks Don

I just tested between the two pins. The body doesn't matter in the circuit.
