JK fenders on an XJ

Anyone ever tried to put a pair of JK fenders on their Cherokee? The hood angle looks like it would make it hard if not impossible to do. But I have a guy giving me a pair that have been cut flat already. My rears have been trimmed since this photo but this is what my fronts look like now. Ideas?

Um, can't hurt to mock up the flares, trim as necessary and go from there.
You can Pull the air dam/plastic outers.

When I look at my XJ and my JK standing side by side I believe that it is possible BUT they will stick out at an angle sideways as the fenders are tapered (angled?). Your best bet is TJ flares as they are equal in width (more or less) front to back as opposed to the JK ones.

If they are already trimmed flat, I don't see why you couldn't trim them narrower to even out the angle. Post pics
