Golden Ears Provincial Park

Anyone ever been here? Looks like the main road becomes Burma Street and goes out to a pretty cool lookout over the lakes and mountains. Would love to make a trip up there if its legal to drive all those logging roads.

I've never been to the place you've pointed out with the arrow, but I've done some mountaineering in the area. Classic British Colombia.

Even cell phone pictures look epic in this wilderness! Maybe I can investigate and we can have a North-NWF some year. Could go up the wipsaw trail, it's one ridge/lake over, near Stave Lake. Stave Lake is kind of where all the hillbillies hang out with their mega lifted full size quad cab long beds with 24" lift and 48s, ha! Yeah not my scene, lots of dudes getting real real stuck in the mud flats at Stave. Anyways, never really been there, but heard about this Whipsaw trail, BFG one time sponsored a trail cleanup around there, supposed to be a cool trail.

The Whipsaw is nowhere near Stave Lake. Stave is in Mission, the Whipsaw is off the Hope-Princeton Highway.

Did the Whipsaw back in...'98 I think...Had a great time. Best to go mid or even late summer as there can be snow in the alpine earlier in the year. Go with a group because to do the whole loop is 3 days.

If I ever get my shit together (and my xj finished) The Whipsaw will be be my first major trail/shakedown run.
