What's causing these strange wear marks on my MT/R's. This one has me stumped

My last set did not do this. It's on all 4 tires and they haven't been rotated yet so most likely not an alignment issue. It's mostly confined to the inner and outer lugs of all tires but the centers also have it to some degree.

AFAIK I am not rubbing on anything other than some slight rubbing on my long arms at full steering lock but that is confined to my sidewalls.

Look for shiny sheet metal, something is scraping them. Did you go up a tire size when you got them(you may need to clearance a little more)
 
Kinda look like flex cracks in the rubber, not scratching or rubbing on anything. Possibly from cornering flexing the lugs since they are only on one part of the lug. I wouldn't really worry about it unless the rubber is crumbling and falling off.

How old are the tires? How many miles?
