bought a set of Chromo shafts for my HP D30, pressed in the 760 and then went to install the hub on when.... wouldn't fit. looked at it a lot and its like the splines on the stub shaft are 1/2 a spline off? also the inside where the yoke is isn't clearances all the way or final machined like the other stub shaft that does fit.

link to exact shafts on their website

am i missing something? i'll post up some pics tomorrow when i get some time.

Did you count the splines? Sounds like one slipped through QA. Call up the vendor and exchange it.

splines are the same and it kind of starts to go in, if you hold it up to the light you can see the splines almost match. like i was saying, 1/2 a spline off.

i'll get pics and then call the MFG tomorrow.

you shouldn't have issues with it. It should slide right in.

had the 2 TJ hubs i was using in the WD conversion... no fit
tried 2 other stock D30 XJ hubs... no fit
also had another spare one... no fit.

other stub fit on all the hubs though.
