New fuel pump no start

So I just installed a new bosch fuel pump. I can hear it go on when I turn the key but I'm getting nothing at the rail. I have rechecked connections and dropped the tank again once. I did have about .5 gallon to a gallon in there. Should I try to put more gas in maybe the pump needs some more?
Need some fast help

I would put in a couple gallons.This way you know the pump can pick it up.

Shit added a little over a gallon it's all I had here guess I'll try and wait for a ride for more
Still no luck

Did you check your fuel filter? I need a couple gallons in mine to pick up.

It's a 99 so it's in the tank. Sorry forgot to say

Got it running.
Rule of thumb you want to make sure you have all parts in your new pump.
I forgot to ad the little silver tube for the outlet of the pump.
Ya I'm stupid
