My speedo doesnt work. What is the stock speedo gear and where is the best place to purchase it?

Answer those questions first.

In addition, the speedo not working does not automatically mean that the drive gear in the transmission or transfer case is broken. There are many other pieces between the speedo drive gear and the dash gage that could cause the unit to malfunction.
