I have a stock 96 XJ. I have at least 5 gallons in the tank, yet the gauge is not moving from the below E level. The low fuel light is on.
I replaced the fuel pump and tank and while I had it out, completely went through the sender (cleaned it up and ohmed it out). But when I put everything back together and put 5 gallons in the tank, no reading on the gauge.
Looking for suggestions. When I search the internet, I found a post that send there is a Fuel Sensor relay. But can't find a diagram that shows this for the 96 XJ.
What else could it be besides the sender or the gauge?
