Pwr Window wire out...

The yellow wire has broken off of my power window motor itself and the blue looks like it is next. What is the best thing to do, replace the motor? Somehow get that old piece of wire out of there and shove the good wire back in? The motor is still good, it would be a shame to trash it.

if you carefully disassemble the motor, you can resolder the wires back on to the terminals.

I also used a couple layers of heatshrink tubing coming out of the holes to strengthen the wires at that point and hopefully keep them from breaking off again. so far, so good.

How does the motor come out of the door? At a glance it seems like everything's rivited in there.
