About to take the heater core plunge!

Just about to dive into the heater core replacement on my XJ, and really wish this write up still had pics...

Is there a good write up for my '98 cherokee that has pictures that work?

Also, I guess theres no good reson to not swap the evaporator for the a/c while Im in there?

Ive seen in some of these threads where its recommended to replace the foam adhesive thats likely falling apart... is there a good source for this? Ive bought adhesive foam from Home Depot before, but its quite a bit firmer and more dense than you usually find in automobiles.

Lastly, are there any recommendations for tackling this without getting all kinds of squeeks, cracks, and rattles from the dash once its all back together??

I just got the foam from the dealer, but that was years ago.

As for squeaks, I didn't use friction tape on mine, but that is an option if you are concerned about it.
