Power Steering Issues

The slower my XJ goes the harder it is to steer. I'm got getting any whining or excess noise from the power steering pump. I took of the serp belt and spun the pulley by hand. It only spun around once and stopped. Is it time for a new pump?

Have you checked to fluid level?

...I'd say yes on the replacement IF you have checked the fluid and it's condition. OR if you've tried to flush the fluid first. It's possible you have water/air/bad fluid.

Replacing the pump is easy.
