¡Es is no bueno! Heads up 2 door XJs

I knew one of the previous owners of my jeep wasn't too kind to it, as evident of the dents in the rocker panels, but it did kind of surprise me to see this, in both door jams.




Stress cracks in the B pilar. Educated guess is this is what happens when you wheel a 2 door hard without strengthening the unibody, not so much of a problem in the 4 doors since they have the extra pilar for the back doors.

Not a big problem for me to fix, just a pain in the butt.

Yup, I've seen that on a few folks rigs.

Wait, why is this in MJ tech? lol

My buddy's stock 95 2dr has this starting too. I'm planning on fixing it when we put the new rockers in sometime this summer.

Bah stupid iPhone, I thought I hit the Modified Tech section.

Every higher mileage two door I've seen up close has these cracks, wheeled or not. Miscalculation when they modified the four door body design I guess.
